It has been a Russian roulette of names, from Tanishk Bagchi to Arko Mukherjee, and now it looks like they have finally zeroed in on Amit Trivedi.
Amit had composed the score of the Alia Bhatt-Shah Rukh Khan starrer Dear Zindagi and buzz is, he will be the one to score Aanand L. Rai’s film too.
A source told SpotboyE.com that Shah Rukh was keen on having Amit onboard.

"Shah Rukh loved the music of Dear Zindagi and it was well received by the audiences too. Thus it is quite possible that Amit Trivedi could be the composer for the film. However Amit is yet to be told about the decision," said the source.
The yet-untitled film will be extensively shot in Meerut (Uttar Pradesh) as well as in some parts of the US. Rai was in US recently for the recce and has apparently finalized the shoot locations.
The film will reportedly go on floors in March and release next December.
